It's Gaffney Day!
I am on vacation (yes, AGAIN), but that does not stop me from posting exciting and totally frivolous content to this website. Today I was driving through the western hills of South Carolina, through a town named Gaffney, when I stumbled across this giant peach. (If you can't see it because the photo is so small, the type on the stem of the monument says GAFFNEY.)
It made me think of a real peach, ex-C/D-er Lori Gaffney, who actually lives in Portland, Oregon. I thought I'd post this photo if for no other reason than it might make Lori smile, and it might also get her to click on the comment link and tell us what she's up to these days.

I have been living in Portland, Oregon since 1991. I spent the first 8 years working at Wieden + Kennedy and now I am the media director at a small agency-Borders Perrin Norrander. We have 2 teenage boys who keep us very busy!

I live in Lake Charles, LA, but my girlfriend Rachel is from Bessemer City, NC which isn't too far from Gaffney. And everytime we go through Gaffney to her parents' house I know we're nearly there when we see that peach watertank.
