Things Other People Accomplished
When I typed my age (54, if you must know) into the website "Things Other People Accomplished When They Were Your Age," I felt like such a loser I coulda just choked. Gratefully, by the time Henry Jay Heimlich was 54, he had developed his emergency maneuver.
When over-achiever Napolean was 54, he was forced to abdicate his throne. This made me feel better. And then I realized, this implied that by the time he was my age, he'd been productive enough to have actually had a throne, the little show-off. (Note to self: acquire throne sometime this year.)
