EDAR
What if everyone in the U.S., instead of buying Christmas presents for their loved ones, spent that money on some form of philanthropy instead. I'm sure our new President would support this idea.
Put an EDAR on your gift list. EDAR is short for Everyone Deserves a Roof. They are portable mobile shelters for the homeless. Here's the philanthropy's website and here's a great article from the LA Times about the project's impact in Los Angeles.
