Christmas Gifts

Jay was always generous at the holidays. If I'm not mistaken, one year we all got red Huffy bikes. And then, one year, it was Frank Sinatra's "Duets" album. (Maybe that wasn't Christmas, but nevertheless, it struck me as an odd gift.)

Jay was in fact always generous, especially during the holidays. For three straight years we received a dozen beautiful Tiffany wine glasses from Jay. They always arrived by courier in a light blue Tiffany's box. After three years we had wine glasses appropriate for any wine. I still have some of those glasses over 30 years later and always think of Jay when they are used.
