Someone found this undated reference to a lawsuit involving Kelsey Grammer (of "Frasier" fame) and a real estate broker which tangentially involved Jay ...
Kelsey Grammer filed a lawsuit against Hamptons real estate broker Bettie Wysor of Dunemere Real Estate who put him and his wife next door to a construction site. The couple rented a mansion next door to advertising executive Jay Chiat in the summer of 1998. Kelsey was uninformed of Jay Chiat's extensive renovation, and was suing Wysor for $100,000 for failing to warn him but Wysor sayd that work on Chiat's house was finished by the time the Grammers moved in. She claimed the couple only used their place for three of the four weeks they'd rented it for, and never complained to her about anything.

The irrepressible Melanie (Axtman) Steinbach and Lori Bennett Gaffney. I swear to god they do not look any different from when I worked with them at Chiat/Day.

I was at World Headquarters of Nike in Beaverton and spied a series of these old C/D ads on the walls.
